Wishing to expand more on previous projects work I thought it would be fun to attempt a minimalist poster for the book "1984" by George Orwell. After creating this one I went on to do more posters based on other books I enjoy.
I wanted to play around with textures for the Lord Of The Flies novel poster as the setting of the novel is in a mysterious tropical island setting. The novel also shelters a lot of dark themes and symbolism which I tried to portray in a decoupe technique.
The last poster I worked on was based on the novel and recent cinematic release of "Ghost in the Shell". I wanted a black and white pallet as the manga (Japanese comic format) is strictly black and white.
